Our position on copyright

MovieBox respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We do not host, store or upload any video content on our own servers. All media is indexed from publicly available third-party sources and embedded or linked for playback.

Filing a takedown notice

If you are a copyright owner, or an agent authorised to act on behalf of one, and you believe that material accessible through this site infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice that includes the following:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorised agent.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it, including the exact URL.
• Your full name, address, telephone number and email address.
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

What happens next

Valid notices are reviewed promptly. Where a claim is substantiated, we remove or disable access to the referenced link from our index. Because we do not host the underlying files, we may also forward the notice to the third-party host that serves the content.

Counter notices

If you believe your material was removed in error, you may submit a counter notice with the same level of detail described above. We will review it and restore access where appropriate.
