What MovieBox is

MovieBox is a free online streaming website that brings movies, TV series and anime together in one place. The goal is simple: remove everything that stands between you and pressing play. There is no account to create, no subscription to buy and no application to install.

Why it exists

Most streaming services ask you to trade convenience for commitment. You sign up, you pick a plan, you install an app on every device, and then you still have to hunt through a catalogue that keeps reshuffling itself. MovieBox takes the opposite approach. It is a website, it is free, and it is organised so that finding something to watch takes seconds rather than minutes.

How it works

Our catalogue is indexed from multiple content sources and presented through a single consistent interface. Every title gets a detail page with the synopsis, cast, genre tags, country of origin, release date, runtime, subtitle languages and available streaming resolutions. Series keep their real season and episode structure, so you always know where you are in a show.

The player is a standard HTML5 video player with quality selection, subtitle switching, playback speed, picture-in-picture and fullscreen. It works on phones, tablets, laptops and smart TV browsers, and it remembers your position so you can resume later.

What we do not do

We do not host any video files on our own servers. We do not require personal information to use the site. We do not sell data, and our analytics are deliberately coarse: page paths and device categories, nothing that identifies you individually.
